Activist Groups Urge Obama to Reject Boy Scout Honor

Activist groups, including Scouting for All, urge President Obama not to accept the honorary Presidency of the Boy Scouts of America until they stop discriminating.

Scouting for All is a 100% Volunteer 501-(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. Every dollar donated goes toward our education and advocacy programs, and is tax deductible.

Join Scouting for All At This Years San Francisco Pride Event

Scouting For All is attending the San Francisco Pride Festival and Parade again this year on June 29 & 30, 2002. We need volunteers to staff the booth both days, Saturday and Sunday,

We also would like to invite supporters to march with us in the parade on Sunday, the 30th. Scouting for All has a special invitation to all the GSAs, Gay Straight Alliances in the Bay Area as well as Scout Units to walk in the parade with Scouting for All.

For the first time this year, Scouting for All is having a float in the parade. Actually it's Steven's truck which will be decorated by the Gay/Straight Alliance at his high school in Petaluma - but during the magic of Gay Pride - it's a float!

Also, we're launching a new campaign - No Child Left Behind. We're asking people to sign a postcard to President Bush asking him to resign his honorary title of president of the Boy Scouts of America until the BSA rescinds its discrimination against gays and atheists. We plan to have Steven Cozza present the thousands of signed postcards to President Bush.
