Action Alert: The Issue of State Government, In This Case NY, Providing The BSA, A Discriminatory
Youth Organization, A Grant
April 27, 2005
"How can BSA be receiveing governmental grants to PAY for someone whose job is to function as a Scoutmaster?
I was under the impression that given the "discrimination" issue, governmental funds could not be used
for BSA programs where membership criteria apply. BSA weasels around this with Learning for LIfe, but this is
a grant paying for BSA activities."

Scouting for All is asking our members and supporters to look into this issue and update Scott Cozza, Pres. of
S4A on just how the state of NY can get away with funding a discriminatory organization. Contact Scott Cozza
