Activist Groups Urge Obama to Reject Boy Scout Honor

Activist groups, including Scouting for All, urge President Obama not to accept the honorary Presidency of the Boy Scouts of America until they stop discriminating.

Scouting for All is a 100% Volunteer 501-(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. Every dollar donated goes toward our education and advocacy programs, and is tax deductible.

As an Eagle Scout and a proud (and voting) citizen of the United States, I want to thank you for your extreme courage in taking the action you did against the Boy Scouts. Discrimination isvile and evil and should be eliminated in all it's forms--foremost insuch an 'all-American' organization as Scouting.(Is discrimination the bestAmerica has to offer our young hearts and minds...?)

It is rare, indeed, these days of right-wing witch-hunts that a politician takes the understanding of the true worth of our nation's hope and promise of equal rights and justice for ALL to the level you have...putting your political future on the line for what is just and right. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
