We ask the national leadership of the Boy Scouts of America to STOP discriminating against gay youth and adults
We ask the national leadership of the Boy Scouts of America to STOP discriminating against atheist youth and adults
The leading cause of death for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth is suicide. The Boy Scouts of America’s policy of discrimination against gay youth only adds to that problem.
The gay community face hates crimes every day. The Boy Scouts of America’s policy of discrimination against the gay community just fuels the flames of violence against the gay community.
The atheist community faces discrimination on a daily basis because of its "religious" belief. The Boy Scouts of America just adds to further discrimination towards the atheist community and furthers the myth that the atheist community is not moral.
The Boy Scouts of America’s national leadership has corrupted both the Scout Oath and Law for it’s own political and religious agendas. They say both the gay and atheist communities are not "morally straight". When the act of discrimination by the Boy Scouts of America is an immoral act.
The Boy Scouts of America perpetuates hatred with its bigoted policy towards both the gay and atheist communities.
The Boy Scouts of America perpetuates false information to the general public when its says it is a religious organization. While in fact it is a nonsectarian organization not suppose to be driven by any one religious belief. 40% of its chartering organizations are not religious, but service clubs and schools.
The Boy Scouts of America has institutionalized homophobia and discrimination with its policy of discrimination against gay and atheist youth and adults.
Gay college student, Matthew Shepherd was murdered by an Eagle Scout and a Mormon both of which represent homophobic institutions
Scouting for All Asks The Boy Scouts of America to STOP Hurting Children by rejecting gay and atheist youth, with its policy of discrimination. The BSA’s policy also teaches "straight" youth that discrimination is ok in some instances.
