Activist Groups Urge Obama to Reject Boy Scout Honor

Activist groups, including Scouting for All, urge President Obama not to accept the honorary Presidency of the Boy Scouts of America until they stop discriminating.

GLSEN Kentucky Launches Boy Scout Campaign to Get the BSA Out of Schools

When GLSEN launched its Boy Scouts of America campaign in the Fall of 2000, GLSEN Kentucky went right to work and built a team to call schools in surrounding districts. As a result of their extensive research effort, they found that almost 20 schools sponsor Boy Scout troops in more than three Districts. Furthermore, they identified those two districts that will be the target of their strategic organizing efforts, as these two districts are home to over half of the troops in the area.

Scouting For All is not an alternative scouting program.
We are an education and advocacy organization reaching out to gay and nontheist youth and adults in our effort to get the Boy Scouts of America to rescind its exlusionary policy.
