Activist groups, including Scouting for All, urge President Obama not to accept the honorary Presidency of the Boy Scouts of America until they stop discriminating.

United Methodist Church in Oak Park, IL Denied by the BSA to Sponsor a Scout Unit Because they Refused to Discriminate

BSA has denied a United Methodist church in Oak Park, Il, the right to form a Cub Scout Troop after the church included it's village anti-discrimination policy with the application.The church attempted to sponsor Cub Scout Pack 14 while following an the village's inclusive policy. About 30 children are affected. Some parents are looking into forming a new group under the Camp Fire Boys and Girls program.
