Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, 6th District, California

Scouting for All has the honor of giving Lynn Woolsey our 2003 Fran Crawford Volunteer of The Year Rainbow Award. Lynn has been a supporter of Scouting for All and Steven Cozza and his efforts to end discrimination
within the Boy Scouts of America from the first day in January 1998 when Steven called a press conference to rally support for his grassroots petition drive, the beginning of Scouting for All. Lynn has also presented the Scouting for All Bill to Congress to de-charter the Boy Scouts of America. Our federal government continues to charter the Boy Scouts of America, which is currently a bigoted organization, discriminating against gay and atheist youth and adults. Lynn also kicked off Scouting for All's "No Child Left Behind" campaign with Steven, asking President Bush to step down as the honorary president of the Boy Scouts of America. Lynn has continued to be an advocate for youth and human rights.

Scouting For All is not an alternative scouting program.
We are an education and advocacy organization reaching out to gay and nontheist youth and adults in our effort to get the Boy Scouts of America to rescind its exlusionary policy.
