Activist Groups Urge Obama to Reject Boy Scout Honor

Activist groups, including Scouting for All, urge President Obama not to accept the honorary Presidency of the Boy Scouts of America until they stop discriminating.

Scouting for All will also be sponsoring a find-raiser for a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender youth organization
called Positive Images located in Santa Rosa, serving Sonoma and surrounding counties. Please contact Terilynn

Benefit for Positive Images At Phoenix Theater
Scouting for All, in collaboration with the Phoenix Theater, is pleased to present a benefit concert for Positive
Images on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at the Phoenix Theater, located at 201 Washington Street, Petaluma.
Popular local bands, including We Attack at Dawn, Santiago, Numbers Like Dinosaurs, Archeoptryx, and Black Box,
will take the stage beginning at 8pm. Proceeds will benefit Positive Images, which provides support for Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual, Transgendered, Intersexed, Queer and Questioning youth and young adults in Sonoma County. Tickets are
$7, and are available at the door.
Scouting For All is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization working to end the discriminatory policies of the Boys
Scouts of America against gay and atheist youth and adults. This benefit for Positive Images is a part of
Scouting for All's 6th Annual National Recognition of Gay and Atheist Scout and All Gay and Atheist Youth Month.
