Activist Groups Urge Obama to Reject Boy Scout Honor

Activist groups, including Scouting for All, urge President Obama not to accept the honorary Presidency of the Boy Scouts of America until they stop discriminating.

Scouting for All is a 100% Volunteer 501-(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. Every dollar donated goes toward our education and advocacy programs, and is tax deductible.

My involvement in scouting started when I was old enough to become a Bobcat. With the support of my parents, I continued through Cub Scouting, Weblows and on to Boy Scouting where I eventually became a proud Eagle Scout. Most of my life has been pretty much closeted, and I therefore was a miserable person, when I look back. I can now say I'm happy and enjoy life, being who I want. I've been out of the closet now for over ten years and enjoy being part of the GLBT Community here in San Diego. I have helped and volunteer for many organizations, events and fundraisers, as it is the driving force from within my heart to give, help and volunteer. This is labor of love! It is not my mission, to volunteer and help for recognition. One of my organizations for which I'm proud to be affiliated is the, Imperial Court de San Diego,in which I've been give a life time title ( Golden Eagle Crown Princess For Life)

I've enjoyed being part of the Scouting for All movement and resigned my rank of Eagle Scout to Scouting for All in 2005. I now enjoy life and am happy with my biggest supporter....Onyx, my little black pomeranian who goes to all activities, meetings and events and is mommys pride and joy.
