Job Description
National Database Coordinator
The National Database Coordinator acts as the key contact for the Scouting for All database. The National Database
Coordinator will maintain the integrity of the information contained in the database. The database is confidential
and only Board members and Regional Directors shall have access to the Scouting for All database. The National
Database Coordinator will maintain the confidentiality of the database at all times.
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Manage and coordinate a user-friendly database and interface which allows access by the Board and Regional Directors.
2. Manage and coordinate a database that contains all information the Board determines necessary to meet the organization's
needs.
3. Gather, confirm the accuracy of, and enter the data into the database as often as is necessary to maintain up-to-date
information.
4. Provide a copy of the data to the webmaster for backup each time data is added or deleted from the database.
5. Assist with verifying mailing information and printing of mailing labels when the Board determines the need.
6. Maintain complete confidentiality of all data in the database and be the principal contact for information,
under the direction of the Board.
