Scouting For All asks that you write to both your local United Way and the United Way National Headquarters and request that they require all their United Way member organizations across America, to stop funding any organization that discriminates against any segment of our society, in this case the Boy Scouts of America. And let them know you will no longer contribute to the United Way in your local area as long as that local United Way continues to donate funds to the BSA.

You can locate the address of your local United Way Office by going to It must be noted that each United Way is a separate incorporated independent organization. Some United Ways have an anti-discrimination policy of not funding organizations that discriminate while others don't have such a policy. Ask your local United Way if they have an anti-discrimination policy. If they do then ask them to follow it. If they don't then still ask them not to donate to any organization that discriminates, in this case the BSA discriminating against our gay youth and adults, and atheists.
